    Resolved

The data center was able to resolve the remaining issues with the rack, and the power connection has now been fully restored. The last issues were due to a switch issue, which is now also functioning correctly again.

We have restarted all customer systems and our monitoring no longer reports any problems.

If any of your services are not working, please contact us.

We would like to take this opportunity to apologize again for any inconvenience caused.

As soon as we receive the RFO report from the data center, we will publish it here.

    Update

    Dear customers,

Unfortunately, some customer systems are still affected.

We deeply regret this and are in close contact with the data center to restore your services as quickly as possible.

We have just received the following update from Frankfurt:

    Dear customers,

During the announced maintenance work, an unexpected power outage occurred today in our data center rooms R1 and R2 at the FRA1 location. In order to be able to carry out the announced maintenance work on the UPS, additional protective measures have been taken to further safeguard against any impact on customer infrastructures.

During the initiation of maintenance measures, the active systems were diverted to redundant systems. During the switchover and initiation of parallel feed-in, a short circuit occurred between two phases, triggered by a technical defect. The short circuit caused the relevant fuses to trip properly.

The emergency process was initiated immediately, and an initial fault analysis was conducted. The fault was quickly identified, and power restoration was initiated immediately. Due to this incident, all further maintenance work was halted.

We deeply regret the disruption and will address it internally and make appropriate improvements. Thank you for your understanding.

We received the following additional feedback from the data center:

Power has been restored. Our systems are back up and will be fully operational shortly.

The systems of Quality Location and its customers are partially active again.

We ask for your patience until all systems are fully available.

    Dear customers,

The following feedback was received from the data center team.

    Ladies and Gentlemen

We would like to inform you that there is currently a technical issue at our R1 and R2 locations. Our technicians are working with the highest priority to identify the cause and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

The exact duration of the outage cannot yet be estimated. We will provide further details about the incident and the expected resolution time shortly.

There are limitations in availability, redundancy and performance in the areas of networking and object storage.

As soon as we have further information, we will publish it immediately.

    Dear customers,

We would like to inform you about upcoming maintenance work on the power infrastructure in the data center. The work includes the lifecycle renewal of the UPS system, whereby the redundancy of the UPS will be increased to n+1 at the same time. The maintenance work mentioned here includes the decommissioning of the current UPS system and the commissioning of a temporary UPS system.

For this purpose, the following switching operations are carried out:

    · Switching the current UPS system to bypass

    · Securing the temporary UPS system to restore UPS protection

During the switching operations, the data center will briefly switch to diesel operation to reduce the risk of a network fluctuation. During the maintenance work, there is an increased risk that comes with every switching operation. In addition, there is no UPS protection for a short time. All necessary and sensible precautionary measures are taken and every step is monitored closely, but a residual risk cannot be ruled out.

For this purpose, the data center sets a maintenance window as planned:

    · March 3, 2025, 8 a.m. CET to March 3, 2025, 5 p.m. CET

The actual work is expected to be completed much more quickly. However, to ensure the necessary flexibility in the event of unforeseen events, the data center is setting the maintenance window a little more generously.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Your Quality Location Team
